Balanced Diet
A balanced diet emphasizes all food groups in the right proportions. It includes carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and all essential vitamins and minerals. This type of diet is designed to maintain a balanced intake of all nutrients to support long-term health.
Mediterranean diets focuses on plant-based foods, whole grains, healthy fats (like olive oil), and lean proteins (such as fish). Strict paleo diets include only meat, grains, legumes, dairy, and some minimally processed foods. Primal diets are a less strict version of paleo which allows for some dairy (like raw or fermented) but focuses more on sustainable eating habits.
